Q. How long does it take for my order to be processed?
A. From the time your order is placed and the date when you receive it, there are two processes to consider.
Fulfillment: Standard fulfillment time is 2-7 business days. Once your order has been fulfilled and left our building you will receive a notification with shipping information if applicable. Depending on the circumstances and inventory levels, it may take longer than usual. Don’t fret, though! All of the big LA wholesale factories are practically in our backyard, including American Apparel. This means it’s super easy to keep stocked and minimizes wait time for you!
Shipping: You have several shipping options to choose from – they can range from within 1-8 business days (1-20 for international orders) depending on the courier and level of service you select.
Q. Why am I being charged tax for all California orders?
A. Our shipping warehouse is located in California. This means we are required by law to tax all orders shipped to California.
Q. Are your products eco-friendly?
A. All our shipping products are either 100% recyclable or fully biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. Our kraft tubes are made from 70-100% post-consumer recycled content and 0-30% secondary recycled content.
Q. What are the care instructions for the products?
A. Here’s a way to take care of them in the best way possible:
Apparel Items: These should be only washed with like colors. You can certainly machine wash the garments in warm water that is around 104°F/40°C. Keep in mind that you should only use non-chlorine bleach if necessary and do not iron the decorated (printed) areas. If the garments require dry-cleaning, you can use any solvent except the trichloroethylene. Tumble-dry these garments on medium.
Pillows: The pillowcase itself can be machine washed according to the above mentioned care instructions. However, the pillow instert should only be handwashed.
Q. How are the canvases made?
A. They are printed on a satin finish canvas and hand stretched.
Q. What material are the frames made of and what color? What is the thickness of the frame? Are the frames matted?
A. Our frames are wood and made in Los Angeles. Acrylic covers the print and the frames are black. The frames have a border of 1″ making the final diameter of a Framed Poster 1″ large all around (i.e. 24″ x 36″ = 26″ x 38″). Frames are not matted.
Q. How are the coffee mugs made?
A. The coffee mug artwork is inkjet printed, using special dye-sublimation inks and transfer paper. After printing, the transfer paper is wrapped around the mug. The image on the transfer paper is mirrored. Heat and pressure is applied to transfer the image. Printed dye is mixed with the coating. The image then becomes part of the mug.
Q. How are your products packaged for shipment?
A. Because of the variety of products we fulfill, we package each item based on dimension requirements to ensure protection during shipment. Generally, posters are shipped in kraft tube boxes with plastic end caps. Frames and canvases are usually shipped in corrugated boxes, ranging in dimensions of 26x20x18 to 28×5.5×38.
Q. How do you package frames?
A. Frames are first wrapped in tissue paper to protect them from scratches and are then wrapped in a layer of adhesive bubble wrap. Finally, they are wrapped in a thicker, more durable bubble wrap that will add extra protection during shipment.
